Can somebody please tell me why this clown is playing? How we got rid of Mark Smith for him is unbelievable!

It may not be like for like, we may be paying Netherton much less, younger player etc.

Netherton is far too slow to be even playing Championship rugby, he can't pass off the floor and doesn't tackle the amount your average hooker will tackle.

When Tangi off loaded that ball 10m from the line Netherton was more interested turning round and giving Tangi a quizzed look rather than jumping on the ball.

He will be out at the end of the season anyway.

He will have been a cheaper option than Smith , so why waste money on playing staff like Smith who isn't up to SL standard .

I do agree, and I don't see what Lunt did wrong last week off the bench. If Coyle is playing hooker now I'Anson is back and Gerrard is having a go in the halves, then I wouldn't even put Kirk on the bench.

He was dropped for the York game, so last night he should be busting a gut to get a starting spot back, I just didn't see that.

It was a bizarre decision to drop Nev for the York game and play Lunt who went fairly well and then reinstate Nev for the Leigh game.

The only reasons I can think of is that Betts went with the majority of players who fu$$ed up the first time round and last night was their opportunity to make amends, which I suppose they did in conceding 6 less points and tagging an extra 2 onto our total.

In all seriousness, il await the next team selection but I cant see how he can keep selecting the same bunch of udnerperformers and then others like Grady are being kept out of the side despite some good early season form.
