You have to live by the decisions of the powers that be, but you know how fickle fans are, could this have a adverse effect on next years number of supporters/the rest of this year ?.

There's nothing fickle about me... I am pretty close to distraught right now.

Yeah and you are probably a die hard fan, How about those who are occasional species who now decide not to bother now. will it cost the club in attendance, and gate reciepts, especially if next year you planned on spending to the Cap. Only time will tell on this one i suppose.

I'll be honest... it's probably a gut reaction to this news but we have been promised that this is a new start and an exciting future. Right now it seems that it might be a better idea to start planning to spend more of Sundays with my family.

I can't see that there will be anything in the next few months or from what we have seen recently to have me continue to give my money over. How anyone could reach this decision is unfathomable.

To be honest i put NO but i will support him and my club.Hopefully he will prove us wrong and turn things around with his own players.Fans do not know what is going on behind the scenes, with players attitudes and not listening to instructions.The players maybe dumb and not bothered, as know wont be in the Superleague squad.

Wayne Bennett?

At the end of the day you are a club thats coming in on the bottom rung of SL. It's unlikely you will finish higher than the bottom 2 for the first couple of years.

Do not like your crystal ball mystic meg. Last time in our first season we came 7th and i like people thinking we will be poop.I think Betts and his team will get more fired up once he chooses his team.I will see recruitment before judgement and i feel we can come 8th or 9th in the first season.

It depends doesn't it?? If we recruited a decent coach who went out and built a decent enough squad then who knows where we would finish in season one. Look at Crusaders last year as an example. They were starting off on a new footing and look where they ended results wise.

I didn't expect Wayne Bennet, but I hoped for a coach with a reputation of being able to build a competitive side like Noble or even Kear (once wakey are removed).
Never on recent form did I expect Betts to be rewarded for mediocrity in this league with steering the club in SL.

I'm astounded that SOC came to this decision.
