Right... I am well up for this game now!!!

I haven't been able to get to a match since we played Toulouse at Home what seems like ages ago.

The reports coming out following the game on Sunday was that the effort was there with patches of ability on display but in the end we were just outdone by a bit of class.
There were one or two reports in the press from Lulu and Tyrer about how well training is going and so I'm hoping that we can now push on with the season ahead.

This will be no easy game but I think it's one that we should be winning.

I'm hoping for a 32 - 18 scoreline.

We need a win simples, we have enough quality in the 17 to get the job done, they just have to play with some confidence and determination. If they show the same form as in the first 7 games of the season then we'll win.

So win by 5+ and we go above them? Sounds like we've had a much more positive week than they have to plus doesn't Wright only coach once (if that) during the week to coach? Hopefully our boys will be buyoured from Saturday, probably a few changes so at least a freshness and let's get out there and stick it too them and show people what Widnes are about

Well they'd get a bonus point then mate (I think I can hear you smack your own forehead off in the distance somewhere ), but a win by 12 moves us up the table towards fourth.

I'm definitely a bit more buoyed and really looking forward to this game. Should be a close encounter but I hope the home advantage takes it's toll and we can run out winners.

Thanks for the comments re the table etc. I just think it helps to paint a bit of a picture. I was going to add a few more bits for a bit more of a view and might do in the next few weeks.

I am gutted Lunt and Gore will be replaced by the duals, but they will freshen us up after only 4 days rest between games.If we play like we can for 80 mins we will win.

Ned didn't realise the Drug Testing Officer was entitled to take the mickey (word censor) out of him!
