Championship deal is being negotiated separately so hopefully they will secure a big rise going directly to championship clubs.

Admittedly it's extra money in the pocket but an extra game would also increase the revenue with gate receipts, match programmes, concessions etc. especially considering as the league would now have ourselves and Wakey in there who would bring a decent enough of a following. I have no idea whether a game would generate anywhere as much as £100k but I think the money it would generate plus the benefits to the competition as a whole would be more worthwhile.
There are certainly issues around 15 teams such as Millenium Magic etc but I'll leave the RFL to work those kinks out, they are at the very least innovative (maybe play the WCC on the same weekend as the main weekend game??)
