Impressed with Cross on debut, especially after such a long time out, and also impressed with our right side defence; they were attacking Deacon, Marsh & Charnley all night and came away with nothing. My MoM has to be Gaz though, not only for his hat-trick but the way he was buzzing all night in both attack and defence.

I think people moaning about Cross have been silenced, played very well and is what we have been lacking at prop for yonks, some big aggressive battering ram. I wouldn't mind signing him for next year should Coley or Fielden retire
