now they can apply for a franchise and stop bleating about being hard done to like a bunch of slags

True, they can sit back now for the next 3 years and concentrate on the 18's and become the team that everyone bitches about.

indeed, its a travesty of this system that leigh will now sit back and concentrate on 'unimportant' off field matters rather than contributing to the league, then a couple of years from now when they havent won the league 3 years in a row everyone will be moaning about a 'mediocre' championship side potentially going up. Irony is a wonderful thing.
still, congratulations to them. they have all that to look forward too.
