Here's my Leigh prediction... they'll turn up in reasonable enough numbers but claim that they've brought far more than they actually did and then moan about the lack of attendances from Widnes fans at their ground earlier on in the season.

I think it will be a good following on Sunday , I'd guess at around 800 , we had the majority of the crowd at Hunslet yesterday in a 700 odd attendance

Anyway never mind that , what score on the pitch ?

Widnes 1 - Leigh 73

In all seriousness I am fully expecting a Leigh victory. I think we have found our true position in the league now in terms of ability, third behind Leigh and Fev.
It will be hard to live with the pace and fluidity of the Leigh side and by all accounts their defence ain't too bad either.


Plus it's hard to compete against a team that have technically broken the salary cap by technically spending a lot more on players than they are allowed to.

I recon Leigh by 20, not quite the 50 point hammering earlier in the year but a defeat! I hope the lads prove me wrong but it looks likes it Leigh's year. I really do hope we stick it to them just so i can troll like a mother fooker on the Leigh board.

It should also pull in a 5,000 gate with good weather.

My idiot brother had the foresight to book his stupid lame wedding on the very weekend this shindig is going on.

Why oh why this game couldn't be moved to Thursday night I'll never know instead of the Fax game that I've got no problem in attending.

Same here. Don't get me wrong! Should be a good wedding, but this feels like catholic Good Friday's all over again. Everyone would be out there, enjoying the derby, I'd be stuck in some fantasists bad joke, wondering what the score was and then running out to the car afterwards to catch the last half an hour on the radio. Annoying.

Been a realist i think we will get beat by 16-20 points, if only play in patches.Play for the full 80 mins like the last 25 against Batley we have a chance.We need to improve our kicking game in play and use our fast wingers.Ellis and Ridyard need to be stopped kicking the territory.Anyway sad to say it Leigh are the team this year, and we are about 3rd best team this year.Obviously the table does not lie.
