Close fought and not too bad a performance by all accounts. Who deserves special mention?

tyrer he was dangerous most of the game and defended very well also the whole front row played well,still gutted we didnt win the game

Pickersgill just for me, tireless in defence and attack, closely followed by varkulis. Special mention for tyrer who was a threat.

IMO Tyrer is Widnes`s best player overall................BUT Varks was your best on the day yeaterday.

Tough one, think Pickers was immense yet again in defence whearas Varks made the most gain up through the middle dragging in 3/4 men every tackle. Tyrer fantastic and especially in defence, also seemed to be causing Evans a lot of problems whenever he had the ball.

Tough one but will edge for Pickers as intensity in defence overall drops a little when he went off at the end, same last week he seems to lift the side a lot!

Pickers for me then closely by Varks.Tackled all day and some strong runs

steve tuck evans to school when he had the ball but he should be doing with his all his experiance at salford and saints lets hope fatty nash gets the same treatment thursday,and lets hope kav and pick keep up there good work

Why we not signed Varks yet?Seems crazy give Allen a contract and not Varks.
