Personally, very solid. Will do a very good job for a club like the lions as whilst he wont set the league on fire he will provide you with a reliable championship quality player. Good signing for Swinton, best of luck to you both for the next season. Hope you guys make an impact. The new lower salary cap does help teams like yours compete so good luck.

indeed, good luck to you next season. Always had a soft spot for swinton attended many an away game in the gigg lane days and the best, kindest teacher i ever had was swinton born and bred. Your recent championship win warmed my heart. Chaz will do well for you i think. very mixed feelings about him around here but i always thought he was more lacking confidence than ability in the past year with us. Will do well i believe.

As long as Swinton play him at loose forward or maybe stand off, he'll go well. He's not a scrum half though, which is how we played him. But that is just another example of our poor recruitment over the last few years - like signing a centre and announcing him as a star fullback etc..

He has a decent kicking game too, so he should come in very handy.

John Cullen. Sadly died a couple of weeks ago.

He's from east hull -played for that lot. He cant train tuesdays cos he'll be signing on n you've got no chance of thursdays ( giro day )

I liked Chaz and thought he was a decent enough stand off but as Pepe said needed a 7 with him really and the deciding factor for no SL IMO may have been a lack of pace if a gap appeared, that maybe down to the fact the guy had two big knee ops in 2009/2010 so could still come back to him hopefully.

He has a very good short ball at the line, a good long kicking game (as a Widnes fan I forget what a short one looks like) and is pretty solid in defence. Get him a 7 and he'll be a cracking signing for Swinton IMO.

Good solid championship player,very steady,best at loose man,take no notice of hedon faithful,he is hull supporter so allowances should be made.He has just renewed his season pass because magners cider are a sponsor this season and is hoping for free samples as he has gone off the white lightening.!
