Im coming down for the Saints Vs Wigan game be our Grand Final on Sunday and want to know what is the best way to get a taxi after the game? is there any good meeting places near by? just always seems to be a problem after the game or reliable firms who will pick up

There are a few decent taxi firms in the area, I suggest (0151) 4245577 Widnes Taxi's. If they can't help try Halton Taxis (0151) 4240606. Good places to meet would be outside one of the pubs, such as the albion carpark.

Why do you need a taxi? The train station is five minutes walk and tehre are buses to and from liverpool from just outside the place.

on a map it looks alot further than 5 mins walk

Give yourself 15 max but if you were gonna ring post game and wait you'd probably get up their in that time. It's only 2 roads really!

I live across from the station. Its about a 15 min walk. Its barely a mile. Unless your talking about Hough Green station?
