TODAY ????? And you honestly think that Widnes would have gone ahead with the change if the RFL had not already approved it!!

I suspect here is more to it than meets the eye. I don't think we would have gone ahead with such an expense without the prior go ahead of the RFL. But we've probably been given some piece of paper which confirms it is legal and above board and by making a big deal of it we keep ourselves in the news for a bit longer.

And we bring further attention to our ipitch.

We could always just have relaid it. Clubs do that all the time.

What type of artificial surface are we looking at here? NFL ? or is it still grass that is 'classed' as artificial due to it being a hybrid?
