Helping us out no end mate. Hasn't done anything spectacular but he's moving us round the field better and organising well enough. Cracking little halfback in the making and can kick goals for fun. We'll keep him thanks!

Like I said, nothing spectacular like chip & chases or taking on and beating the defensive line but he is organising us very well and is doing a cracking job which is no mean feat for such a young lad.

It's by no means a crticism of the lad and he is the type of player we have been sorely missing.

Don't try to look for something that isn't there!!!

Redchemic has it pretty much spot on tbh. He's a very classy player for a young lad who goes about his job very well and consistently.

Interestingly we had Joe Mellor on loan last year and the 2 lads couldn't be more different but O'Brien is giving us a real balance that we need and kicking game in play and on the tee is superb.

Yes has a good short and long kicking game.I like him loaned for the season after this Easter period.Think Craven will partner Hanbury and show what he can do.
