68-4. Widnes yet again doing what their fans were all saying when they finally acquired a Super League licence and 'showing that lot from Warrington whose number 1 in Cheshire'.

An embarrassing spectacle for our sport. And on tv too.

Widnes Vikings shouldn't even be allowed in the same stadium as the mighty Wire,let alone be on the same pitch.

I am beyond defending this garbage from so called 'trolls'.Betts is so far out of his depth he no longer needs a life ring but a helicopter.The writing was on the wall last year when he couldn't get his team to compete against top championship clubs and we were hammered by fifty odd points against Leigh and Featherstone not to mention a home defeat to Hunslet.In their infinite wisdom the club then offered the failure a contract as our SL coach.The so called moaners and whingers who were aghast at such an appointment were advised to wait and see what he could achieve with a full time squad.We are still waiting.Betts can't even get his team to put in a 40 minute performance nevermind a full game.I think it was Max on the trust site who asked the question,at what point does mediocrity become unacceptable.It is a valid point.Is it two consecutive 60 pointers or three?Is it a fifty pointer followed by a seventy?Is it an eighty point job?Is Betts bulletproof?

I get the impression that kevin Brown is his first big name signing for next year ! scary really to think Betts doing the recruiting for next year no disrepect Brown been consistent at huddersfield but sounds that well attract big names with big contracts !Hope we can attract a Tony smith type of coach aswell !

Don't want to bring the tone down even further.. but this week I watched a documentary called Hitler's Children on the iplayer (still available I do believe). Anyway, watch if your interested, but at the end of the film, a holocaust survivor shakes hands with the grandson of the concentration camp chief because he had the guts to do a question and answer session in front of a group of Israeli school children.

Some may think this is off topic, but it reminded me of the pettiness of fans such as you, when a man who went through what he did had the dignity to shake hands with a man who could be deemed an evil monster.

Now compare that to your little dig. You might say it's not the same but if you watched it you would realise the enormity of his gesture and the sadness of your posts. I'm not even a Widnes fan.

i know were laughable , but ive had many laughs at the wire over the years harmless banter really but i hope you get burnt to puck when you play on ou r i pitch
