What are people's thoughts ? Personally I'm expecting one hell of a backlash. Hope we can deal with it. http://www1.skysports.com/rugby-league/ ... for-Widnes Hocks been cleared to play, hopefully phelps, briscoe and ah van will be back. The win at London will really lift the fans and help to make this such a healthy looking gate. One game at a time but if we showed the passion, aggression and desire to get us the win at London with a scratched side we can hopefully give st Helen's a good running. Just to think missing from the London game Briscoe Phelps Ah can Brown Hock Pickersgill Davies Kavanagh What's even better? They'll all be fighting like hell to get back and keep the name in the team. They've got to want to play for widnes and give 100% every week. It's good having choices Widnes 22 Saints 25 Att: 9,012

I would like to see us test saints with a big aggressive pack, whilst I know they won't play that bad again if we can rattle them early doors them nightmares of last weekend may start flooding back.

Pickersgill and Hock to the pack for me with lulu and Gerrard dropping out, that sounds harsh after London but saints are a totally different machine.

Briscoe and phelps to return in the backs to replace craven and Dean, Hanbury and Mellor at half back.

Respect Saints but don't fear them! I think we've got every chance of winning this one in a closely fought contest. Even after their shocking 1st game, there's no doubt that they have got quality players in their side who will be itching to get stuck in and put Huddersfield behind them. I agree that if we get stuck in first and rattle them early on we can edge it.

Everybody is expecting a wounded St Helens to return to winning ways with a vengance. If Saints lose again then questions will be already asked about Nathan Brown. Logis says a St Helens win BUT

Get up into their faces early and make the tackles count. Shut the ball down and Saints can`t play.

That's my train of thought for this one. We're definitely a much improved team this year and coming off the back of a good win at London. We'll have a big crowd creating an intense atmosphere. I have a real respect for Saints and think you will come good this year. My hope is that you delay this for another week! Can't wait for Sunday...
