To start using this forum.

At present I think this will be the only current topic on the first page started by a Widnes fan. TIW is full of arrogant self-important winkers apart from the peeps who used to post here. They're out in force today again:

"You said this"
"No I never I said that"
"Well it looks like you said this"
"Well I didn't mean this I meant that"
"Say what you mean then you awful person"
"I'm entitled to an opinion without being called names"

Day after day, ad infinitum.

Don't get me wrong, sometimes these morons are hilarious but sometimes they're just morons.

Good effort Yoss. Im not sure backbiting the other forum is the right idea though as it merely promotes more of the same here. We've had busier times, we've had quieter times, this is one of the supremely quiet ones.

Not sure what the solution is to be honest.

Perhaps we should replace the Widnes banner with some tumbleweed? on a serious note Twitter is my place of rugby league discussion these days, it's killed any interaction I have with forums really.

Yes, I suppose the last thing we want is em coming over here to defend themselves! I live in Yorkshire so it's nice to get the gossip on there but I'm reluctant to sign up there for fear of biting-back as you so diplomatically put it

In the last championship spell this was the place to be and although I rarely posted I visited daily to read a mostly reasoned debate with a sense of perspective and humour (shy of the odd bit of wire or leyther bashing!). Speaking of which it's good to have fans from other clubs post here, has less insular vibe and usually very entertaining.

I think alot prefer been on the Widnes forum, as nobody posts on here and now seems a habit.To be honest i rarely post now and just read to see news etc.It can be boring and tedious and i have other commitments.
