He's better than Hicks. Apparently Hicks was going to be doing the game but the RFL refused because Mr Hicks insisted that the Ref Cam was facing him and not the players.

could've done with Thaler after last weeks performance. Pity. At least the incompetence will be on TV.

Whoever was chosen,you'd have complained just the same.You are all invited to take a refereeing course but ofcourse,I won't hold my breath.

Let's just hope the game is all about the tries and great performances by the players (Widnes of course) rather than the officials...

TBF it's only really Hicks we have had an issue with.
