I cant see us having any realistic chance of the top 8, so it was better for us that Saints beat Cas to keep us ahead of them barring a really bad defeat tomorrow. Hull KR beating Salford was also useful to maintain a bit of daylight there!Looks like we still have a chance of catching Bradford and if we can by some miracle grab a win tomorrow, Wakefield are also catchable.
Hull are on a bad trot too and they are prone to struggling at the end of the season, but I think they have too many good players to tumble too much further, but you never know!
9th or 10th would represent a considerable improvement on last season, even 11th or 12th would not be a disaster despite the poor form of Salford and London. Sadly despite a number of close fought games we lack the consistency to be pushing for the 8 (and probably lack a nippy bench hooker and a big prop).
