I would think that is his chance of a new contract. Always seemed to be trying too hard when on the wing or (heaven forbid) in the centres. In the pack his role is simple, drive it in and tackle. He has always given 100% and showed last night, that he can "play to instructions".
Despite the dreadful conditions I dont think he lost the ball once, carting it up into some pretty heavy traffic.
It was a classic Corporal Jones night "they don't like it up 'em" and they didn't!
