Buy tickets online prior to the game, otherwise you'll have to que at the ticket office on the day as no cash is accepted at the turnstiles. It's also £2 cheaper to pre-purchase and you can print your tickets off.

What constitutes a "senior" at Salford. Widnes is 65 but I know some clubs are 60.

I'm not too sure, but I wouldnt worry about it either way. They're not going to turn away a 60 year old with a senior ticket.

The family ticket of 2 adults and 2 kids is good value too at £40 which is the equivalent of saving £20 or the kids getting in for nowt!

Usually it is the North Stand, but when the club anticipate a low away following they don't open it. I'd go with what the Salford site says as I'd assume they'd be in the know a bit more.

If Widnes are selling North stand tickets then you will probably have the choice of both. North stand has it's own ticket office as well which makes it easier for those paying on the day, although the price increases by £2 on matchday.
