Oh yes. Who else. It Widnes. Il take it and run as it was unexpected however we have had a great season and have steadily progressed in the past 3 years.

Great fans
Great academy
Great facilities
Good/some great players who are playing better together year in year out

Didnt expect to win it but barring the semi final incident its been a great season, pleased for the tireless workers at the club and community staff.

Do you as fans think you're club deserved this accolade? Do you think this last season that you've made greater progress than Cas? And trust me as a Wakey fan that's hard to say!

Over the past couple of years, without a doubt yes! You've got to remember that just over 3 years ago we were a championsip club, to go from that to a club that was never out of the playoffs throughout the entire season is absolutely spectacular achievement. Not to mention the sustainability of the club, good finances and terrific voluntary and community support work. I thought Cas would have got it but we dont know how they criteria it and there are definitely alot of arguements that go in Widnes' favour that outweigh the one day of madness at LSV.

Has anybody been identified and banned for the pitch invasion and smashing up the hoardings last August?.

Or are you just dragging your heels in the hope it all goes away?. Some posters on the walls at Warrington doesn't make up for the fact I (& others) couldn't celebrate our semi final win.

This is supposed to be club of this year - 2014, not looking at where Widnes was 3 years ago. If it was judged on this year, as it should have been, there was only one winner and that is the club that was named by all and sundry as relegation fodder, that has proved everyone wrong with limited resources and has not brought the good name of the game into question - and that club is Castleford Tigers....
