With Wire, Saints, Wigan down the road and the fact that Widnes not exactly taking SL by storm a rebrand would be a great commercial move. Liverpool Vikings or Liverpool Chemics has a nice ring to it and the Widnes name is fairly well known in Liverpool, if Wasps can move to Coventry and become one of the most commercially viable RU clubs why can't our clubs do the same? Time for change.

Not a good idea - to say the least.

The team plays in Widnes, not in Liverpool, so why even suggest changing the club's name?
