The negative waves emminating from last Sundays game are justified and there is no way that can be dressed up. I have supported Doncaster RL for 30 yrs. Most of us are experienced to know that win after win is not in the Dons nature. What we cannot stomach is souless, leaderless, clueless rubbish. No one is expecting miracles this year apart from hoping we stay up, what we do hope is to come along and watch a Doncaster team giving it's all and at least give the impression that they are prepared to give it a go. The negative waves on here I suggest have no impact on crowd figures as far as fresh faces are concerned. Doncaster sporting public attendance figures are results based, nothing more nothing less. History proves that in all aspects of Sport in the Town.

Negative remarks made on here come from the heart of true supporters
who week in week out (home and away)follow the Dons who like yourself
probably need to give more quality time to our families but fail to do so.

And when we enjoy the game on a Sunday even if we lose (and that happens)
we post positives on the forum------have a look at postings made after the Batley away game.

Whats written on here has no influence on the crowd figures whatsoever
But believe me the performance on the field does
---and as a long-time rugby-league fan you must surely be aware of that.

Yes we know it was always going to be hard this season- and the majority of us belive Dave and Karen are doing a stirling job,but
i'm sure if you ask them what they thought of last weekends performance they would find it hard to find positives if they are being honest

The simple fact of the matter is not one of objectives.
That is laudable and of course we want the Dons to be solvent and balance their books.
We want the Dons to have plans for better things....and the infrastructure is looking good and things are promising....none of that is in doubt.
What is in doubt is simply if they continue playing lack-lustre stuff, will they be able to balance the books to even get to their dreams?
Now we can argue as to whether it is harsh to judge so early in the season....but the signs are there.
We want some determination....we want to see a turnaround in the next half a dozen games.... optimism, pessimism, philosophy aside...if that doesn't happen...the club will be faced with a big problem.
This is about jam today......not tomorrow.
It is a trade off between now and the future....and it's a tricky balancing act.
