The price has not gone down well DM, some really loyal fans have voiced their concerns on The Facebook supporters page.

It has all the 'Hall'marks of a corporate do.

That price is ridiculous even if there wasn't a cost of living crisis! And Martin Rowland trying to justify it on facebook just shows how out of touch this club has got, it's like they think of different things how to alienate the fans!

It's interesting to hear the Facebook fans are unhappy about this.

I wonder if the Fans panel group were consulted on this before the club made the decision?

Crazy price given the state of most peoples finances ,furthermore the attitude of Martin Rowlands is out of order calling out the loyal fans that attend week in week out.

I thought the idea of a presentation night was for the fans to meet the players and see them rewarded for the seasons performances, not to have their pants down paying over the odds for Pedigree Chum pie and chips.

I know from previous visits in hospitality that the food is not cheap but we have to appreciate the caterers are a business and have to make money, however I question if this is the right event for normal fans.
Wouldn't the club be better served having a presentation night at say £10-£15 with no food and doing the £35 ticket for the Samoan team, which is more likely to draw from a commercial pool of sponsors and businesses.

I am not slating the club here as on previous occasions there have been low turn outs from £10 tickets, however I think the price is ill conceived given the current climate.

For £35 I'd want a 50% stake in Samoa never mind meeting some fringe players! The sad facts are they would prefer new corporate partners joining than new fans and sadly us who have followed the team over some terrible years are the bottom of the food chain in all of this.

I think the underlying problem with poorly attended End of Year Awards ceremonies over the years is that the club fails to build up a good enough connection between themselves and the fans generally. Had we got a charismatic coach and a good communications team at the club we might all feel as though we are in this together.

I presume the event on Friday 7th October hadn't been discussed previously at a Fans Group meeting or else the club would have been aware of how it was likely to be received. This then begs the question as to what the purpose of the Fans Group is if it's not be consulted on issues like this?
