Geoff that is a very astute observation.

Totally agree with whats been already said, utterley embarassing today don't like to single out players after a defeat but think its time some of our so called senior players such as Leafy, Bovill,Steen and co, started to lead by example and help some of the younger players out on the field

Rugbyman has retired. Welcome to Another Penalty

It would have been nice to see the leader on the field today, looking at the players you would not know who the captain was.

Think the only thing our captain led today was the error count with stupid attempts at offloads in impossible situations, constanlty putting the team under unessesary pressure keep playing the youngsters IMO, at least they have a go and leave the overweight seniors out

Dave what do you expect from the fans when they pay to watch displays like that.

I expect them to be upset, angry, disillusioned etc
(quite understandably).

Its been dying for a few years Gary.
It had the heart ripped out of it on the day we moved to the Keepmoat. If we could have a little stadium that wasn't as dwarfing as the Keepmoat is for us, and still manage to compete properly then I'd be happy. We're never going to be world beaters, but if we can just compete at our level, then I'm sure other fans would be just as pleased. I've had some excellent days following the Dons, and would hate for this to end.

Indeed. I don't think anyone expected a fantastic season but Saturday was dire.

I too have had some fantastic times following the Club and hope that it can continue.

Not thyself but the cause

Peter Roe would be a start, not as old as people think he is, and always got clubs with little money playing attractive rugby, something I m struggling to think the last time I saw regularly at Donny.

Singe only managed it because he spent a fortune.
