Of course I'll still be there, it's what i do on Sundays

We are struggling without Grant, however, as I mentioned before the weekend, what has happened to the offloads and runners we had preseason? We were creating another2 tackles a set then through good off loads, and the people taking the ball were making yards

We will be there, me and the Father in Law. We have spoken about this and we will stick with it, its not a new situation for this club and the gallant few hundred,we have seen it all before. We won't up sticks and go elsewhere to watch RL. This is our side, Doncaster. What we want is a bit of pride, a bit of decent rugby, some passion and some players to be proud of. We want someone to stand up and lead, on and off the park and someone who is worth staying to the end for and clapping off the field. What I do expect is that Carl Hall as not taken this situation lightly in his role, he would never have done that whilst a player and I expect that drive and desire from his playing days to be the same now he his in charge. We look bottom three material, the challenge I expect the club to meet is to prove us wrong.

Fair play to you all ...but expect more pain.
You might as well support a local amateur side .....we are not bottom three.... we are bottom in every sense of the word.
We are dreadful.
But I hope to be proved wrong.....if we win I volunteer to be put in stocks and rotten tomatoes thrown at me...

Not one to be outrageous, but how many times do we start with a team that shows some talent and enthusiasm for passing the ball including the forwards only for someone to come along and coach it out of them!

After Saturdays game i was pig sick but after thinking about it we knew this season was going to be tough, though having said that Saturday was unacceptable.
Only a few months ago we were so happy just to have a team to follow and accepted the fact that we would probably end up at the bottom end of the league. Now is the hour that we must stick with the club and hopefully over the next two or three seasons we will be able to build into a succesful sustainable club. If people walk away now then the game is up and RL in Donny will be finished for good. We will be attending all the home games and as many away games as possible. I don't want to be looking back in years to come thinking if only we had done more !
Now is the time the club needs its loyal fans to stand by it.
This is the Last Chance for RL in Donny.
Once it's gone it's gone. FOR EVER....

Totally agree.

The only problem being that it would seem that the loyal fans only now number about 200 and whilst we need their loyalty, we also need to attract others and therein lies the problem.

I'll be going to the game on Sunday, but i'm fairly sure i w
ill not be enjoying any of the Keepmoat experience yet again.

It doesnt seem like 5 minutes ago we had a team which I enjoyed watching win OR lose. I pretty much enjoyed all the games down at Belle Vue, the fans and the players always seemed to have a conection..that got lost, we had a chairman who although split opinion spent a hell of alot of money for a team at Doncasters level and didnt ask anything from me personally other than come down and support the players.

Nothing seems to have gone right for us down at the Keepmoat, even most Rovers fans dont like it.

I'm not sure what my point is other than, i don't enjoy it anymore... even Rovers fans at their lowest ebb in the non league say they ENJOYED much of their time there. I'm not enjoying this at all and that is something i thought i would never write on this forum.

Maybe a move to a smaller more compact ground would help matters. I believe that Armthorpe Welfare are looking into a new ground near the M18. If we went in with them maybe this would be beneficial to both clubs in regards to getting funding for a more suitable stadium.
Worth looking into i think.

Personally, I would hope that anything which might keep the Club running would be considered. Toll Bar with a little more money spent on the ground (sports grant?) would also be worth considering if the decision is taken to move.

Re: South Wales game : Thu Mar 11, 2010 7:24 pm
We've all had an opportunity to vent the spleen since last Saturdays game (we are all entitled to our opinion as paying customers). However, Sunday is a chance for the players to prove that the form of the past couple of games is wrong.

A number of people have said they may not come on Sunday (happily, one or two seem to be reconsidering). I hope that my original thoughts of 200+ are way off the mark but whatever the turnout a good performance on the pitch (even in defeat) may start to unite the Club oncemore.

The Supporters remaining this season (as I have said elsewhere) were not expecting miracles this season and if we are being honest most of us have stuck with the Club through 'thick and thin' so surely knowone thinks that we are expecting win after win after win. No just some pride in the shirt. Sunday offers a chance to begin again.
