I'm used to the opinions of everyone on here, and I know, having spoken to most of you that you all love the club as much as the rest of us do, but looking elsewhere, there are some people who seem to be taking great joy in any potential fall, and I know these are Dons fans. Its not my way to name and shame though.

Well I am sad to hear that there are people that might think that.
They ain't Dons fans.
I naturally assumed that given the flak you were talking of folk on here.

Extremely disappointed with Sundays display but having just listened to cookie's interview I think this could be a blessing in disguise.
I was good to hear the hurt in Pauls voice and I for one am certain things will be addressed in a big way.

I follow most of the main Rugby Pages and sites etc and I have yet to see any Donny fans say anything different to what is generally put on here.

I think as a club we have to be realistic and that the squad we have isn't the one we would pick in every position IF we were given more cash to spend where we want.
This is a massive season and making the top end (even if we then crash) is the most important thing - head into the wrong end and its anyone's on any given day...

As for Wilko who I rate as a player - if what's said is true I would end his contract. We are trying to establish a professional set up and that is not professional, yeah he is young etc... But one day he is in danger of looking back and going b*gger I could have been near the top, he is potentially that good.....but the last thing we need right now is missing a half back.

Chuck young Mitch Vincent in at scrum half and see how he does this weekend - he seems geared up and desperate to play for us.

As long as we keep picking wins up along the way each month and are safe before our last 2 matches.

I wouldn't like to think we had to win those to stay up.

But if we play to the right intensity[not like Sunday] we can get the wins we need i think.

BUT its going to be a tough tough year however well we play, For all the clubs like ourselves.

I'd be tempted to try him or Tom Holt, as I know Tom has some experience playing in the half backs.

I think there is a lot to be said for trying someone else at scrum half ... JK is not quite there yet and barring a gift from Hull in the shape of Abdull we need something more.
I wouldn't get rid of Wilko he has been a revelation and the best find from a youngster in ages.
I spoke to him after the army game and he seemed such a sensible young man.
There are obviously some issues, since it's now been mentioned a few times about his lifestyle.

I dont think there are people on this forum that want to see the team fall on its face ( I certainly dont) I have supported this club for 30 yrs through thick and thin,at home and a lot of away games, Spent a lot of my hard earned cash along the way. I felt let down and dissapointed last sunday by a very poor team and what is bothering me most is that after the last 2 or 3 seasons where we have done really well and now we are facing our toughest season for a lot of years we dont seam to have the ability/skill and players to do ourselves justice this year. Hopefully sunday was a blip and we can kick on and play some good rugby and create a winning team. I fully support Paul, Carl the players and always will. Looking forward to sunday and seeing a team with a point to prove. COYD.
