Having thought about this for a couple of days, I don't think Paul Cooke is the type of player that Tony Miller would sign. TM seems to prefer hard-working, dedicated players, who have a desire to win.
Paul Cooke may have these qualities but his past record and his recent attitude towards the game suggests he would have plenty to prove in these departments.
I've had a feeling, along with a couple of earlier posters, that Mick Butterfield might be played at centre this season. We could do with him playing both full back and centre as he's probably our most consistent performer! Mick at centre with a very able full back would be a good combination.
Clinton Schifcofske would be a big asset at the back from an organisational point of view. It would be great to see him in a Dons' shirt. It wouldn't address the half-back problem though which would be a concern.
Has TM got more than one signing in mind? I presume we will be in the market for perhaps bringing in a couple of dual registration players as well?
