Rugby Leaguer & League Express reports that former Dons and current Dewsbury centre or second rower Ayden Faal will continue to train with the Rams while court proceedings against him are pursued.

The charges relate to possession of cannabis with intent to supply and abstracting electricity.

A court date of February 11 has been set.

Luke Burgess and Michael Coady both in the Leeds squad for last Saturdays pre-season friendly against Wakefield TW. Burgess scoring the opening try in the Rhinos 40-22 victory at Headingley.

Wayne Reittie, Paul Handforth, Adam Robinson, Sean Hesketh, Craig Potter (Batley) and Ayden Faal (Dewsbury) all involved in the Bulldogs 30-6 Roy Powell Cup victory yesterday.

Kyle Briggs, Tony Tonks, Ross Divorty, Michael Haley (Featherstone), Danny Grimshaw, Joe McLocklan, Neil Lowe and Scott Woodcock (Hunslet) all played in Rovers 38 -16 Gareth Swift Memorial Trophy win over the Hawks (also yesterday). Briggs and McLocklan amongst the tryscorers. Briggs 4/6 with the boot.

Chris Hough was a tryscorer for Rochdale Hornets yesterday in their 34-28 Law Cup defeat at Oldham.

Wayne Reittie (try), Paul Handforth, Craig Potter & Sean Hesketh for Batley Bulldogs in a 30-18 victory against a Huddersfield Giants squad which included Kyle Wood (try).

Kirk Netherton (Widnes Vikings) in the 20-12 home loss to Crusaders.

Shad Royston (Bradford Bulls) a tryscorer in the 50-8 win over Halifax.

Nathan Freer & Alex Benson in York City Knights 62-10 defeat at Castleford.

Andreas Bauer, Martin Ostler and Jamie Thackray in Barrow Raiders narrow 30-28 victory over Swinton Lions who included Sam Reay.

Ross Divorty and Jake Bassinder in Featherstones 36-22 win over Gateshead Thunder who had Wayne Green at Full Back.

Dean Gorton, Chris Hough and Paul Crook (try) in Rochdale Hornets 24-20 loss at Keighley.

Featherstone have denied that they are sniffing around Aaron Dobek as a replacement for Kyle Briggs.
