Excellent post Rupert Bear, me and kid will be there, do I expect a win, probably not, do I expect to be entertained, probably not, do I expect to see effort and committment, YES, at this stage of the clubs existence only that should be expected, the first 2 are bonuses.



As you state fans should be glad we have a club that we can go watch and if the hard core fans give up or stop supporting then there may well be no club at all.

My hope is that this guy and his son do not have to endure what we have had to SO. I suppose to a fresh face it look like an exercise in moaning but frustration would be more apt. Oh well onto another bloody sunday and fresh hope

what does **** me off is people who have not been for over a season , yet they come on here all superior telling the club what to do. Some of em I have never seen smile at a Dons game in the recent 10 years. I think they want the Dons to get beat.

I don't think that having a go at other posters or falling out is the way forward.

Just because someone has chosen to stop supporting the Dons is the Dons fault not theirs.

They could be persuaded to come back and would love to....if the menu was not wall to wall sh/te.

May be the Dons aren't the problem if you listened to last Thursdays GMR RL programme they had four chief executives from SL teams and some of them where saying that some of there supporters had been complaining that the game was becoming boring

Talking about boring I watched Scotland v England at Rugby Union. I am still enjoying my Friday night fix of SL.

But there were 73000 spectators there what attendance do you think an RL international match between England & Scotland would attract?

There have been some cracking games on SKY this season, Bradfords comeback win over Wigan last weekend and Wigans earlier victory over Warrington being just a couple of examples.

Rugby Union Internationals are a big social occaision , SL attendances compare favourably with Premiership matches .

Fair point about the Scorpions squad. The score line today IMO is irrelevant the Dons have to have a structured game and play with some desire. We look like we will struggle to match most sides physically and that is not the fault of the youngsters out there, but I hope that some of the more experienced players lead by example.

They have 4 on dual registration and 3 on loan. There was some talk (unconfirmed officially) that the three loanees (Anthony Blackwood, Ben Flower and Jordan James) won't be available today.

prat be gone. I came up on the scorps coach and was good to see some die hards willing to part with £12 for what was essentially a nothing game. We are new to the comp some might have seen this as a win for you but it's hardly going to draw in a crowd was it? We had a free bus and couldn't fill it up which is also terrible does that mean we dint deserve a team either?
