It'll be interesting to see the Toulouse squad later. They had a few injuries after the York game so the 17 may include some kids.
Three lots of fish and chips in one day could be pushing it a little bit but it sounds like a good challenge to me.
I'm looking forward to Sunday but I'd rate our chances as no better than 25%. We've got to start showing that we're capable of beating the best in the league though. Only two teams go up. Toulouse are almost certain of one of those spots unless they have a major injury or suspension crisis. It's realistically then one from Rochdale, Barrow, York and the Dons for the other spot.
Sadly I don't think we're the best team amongst those four but the structure of the league gives us better chance of going up than we perhaps ought to. I'm a firm believer that the top two prove they're the best teams over an entire season, and it's cruel if they don't go up. Although the league structure does slightly bring my theory into question as all teams don't play each other home and away; which is ultimately the fairest way.
Under the present structure, we have a chance and we've got to try to grab that chance as we really don't want to be in this league next season. I fear for season ticket sales and attendances for next season if we don't go up.
I wonder if the chap who ripped up his season ticket in front of the fans at the Barrow match will be paying at the gate on Sunday?
PS. No it wasn't me! I'll be there for next ten years, I'd imagine (regardless of which league we're in).
