Rovers start the new season on the 3rd of August. Our game 6 days earlier has been moved. Rovers will have at least 1 friendly at home so struggling to see why that game has been moved ?

Its a fair point and yet again because of the lack of an explanation from the Club we are left guessing and surmising. Not ideal.

Yep they must have known for some time the exact dates the pitch was out of commission. I'm surprised that the home game against Oldham has not fallen victim as well. Just a guess but I wonder if the Rovers and the potential playoff games have had a bearing.

A chance they may not even be in the play offs now Peterborough won last night.
Got to win their last game now to stay in 6th.

This is all because the Rovers take precedence I should imagine ...yet we are Club Doncaster so it should all be joined up.
Throwing away home advantage is stupid!
Would the Rovers do that?

I presume the 'pitch repair' period cannot start (or be decided) until the Rovers have played their last home game which is why more advanced planning can't be made on this.

If the 'repair period' is later, it could start to impinge on Rovers pre-season friendly arrangements.

It then makes it difficult to plan Dons fixtures.

It really isn't ideal having to play away from the Keepmoat and less ideal still having to go out of town.

Well they could play their pre-season games away ... is this a two way street?

I fear it probably isn't. I suspect we will always have to fit in around the Rovers.

No its all about revenue streams, we are simply unable to match the clout.

Exactly
That's why people have had enough but being equal will never happen even though that's how it should be
