Sampled the Pivni house ale brewed by Thornbridge yesterday at the World Beer Freehouse in York and also a pint of Wadworth 6x in the Punch Bowl (the one opposite the Yorkshire Terrier - as opposed to the Wetherspoons house).
Burton Bridge Damson Porter 4.5% Northumberland Brown Ale 4.6% Ilkley Best 4.0% Raw JR Best 4.2% all sampled in Cask Corner last night along with yet another pint of Mature Toad.

I read that the Toad Brewery were hoping to open to the public and sell ale on match days ... sometime in the future. That would be Rovers match days I presume.
They also get their water from their own borehole.
Visited the Black Lion at Firbeck yesterday. The owner bought the pub from Punch Taverns last year and it shows. Five ales on of which two were from microbreweries and some stonkingly good fare to boot. Pub was full on a Wednesday evening, which says something when they're out in the sticks. Both beers I had were in good form, Bryson's Hurricane Bitter and Westgate ( Greene King ) Bonkers Conkers.
