just had a blast from the past - having been weaned on Adnams Ales on the East Coast I found a bottle of Broadside in a local 'english' shop - it cost me £2 !!!!! but worth every centime - it was bootiful !

on the label it says 'Brewery Of The Year 2011' as voted by the Good Pub Guide - Well done Adnams

Cask Corner have recently had available the very enjoyable Grafton Brewing Company Encore 4.5% (a ruby bitter)

had a couple in the bankers draft yesterday,
saltaire "blonde",
kelham island "sleigh rider",
both very enjoyable.of to do the pubs in the guide in chezzie tomorow.will report!.

peacock,black sheep "golden sheep",
portland.osset "brigantes",
market harviestoun."bitter and twisted",
queens head,bradfield "farmers blonde",
rutland,brampton "best",
back to sheff after an excellent curry at the blue india.couple of pints of jaipur in the tap!!!!.

Paid a visit to the Yorkshire Grey recently ,only 1 real ale available , donot do their own brew anymore !

Hoping to visit a couple of real ales pubs in Hull tonight, will report on here tommorow if manage to. There was a pub for many years called Durty Nelly's (an Irish pub) which I believe is now a real ale pub called Lion & Key, will have to try that at some point. http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/2552282
