For Donny to get in SL, someone has to be kicked out
lf you are to believe what you read, Widnes are nailed on
So you need 2 teams kicked out
Quins, Dragons, Crusaders, are fireproof, Rhino.s, no problem
Codheads, Giants, Warriors, Wolves, at present seem to meet all the criteria, that leaves 6.
All talk about building new stadia, has now gone quiet, and we probably won.t hear anything about planning applications again till the end of next season 2010, can they all pull the wool over the RLs eyes again,(don´t bet against it)
Rovers, have spent money on their ground and developement, and have good support, so should be ok
Saints, have the plans but no building yet, their record should keep them safe,
Bulls, have a good record, but nothing else, might just get them 3 more years
That leaves Reds, Tigers, and Wildcats.
At this moment in time l would sat the Reds will make way for Widnes
their new stadium todate amounts to a lorry load of sand
So that leaves Cas and Wakey, if any?
Its not going to be easy is it?
Your call?

Pretty good summary if you don,t happen to support another team currently outside Non relegation league.
Franchising won,t last I hope and the reason is it should be down to results on the field. Without that there really is no point as you will see when this ridiculous idea starts to effect every clubs attendances as this season goes on.

as far as Saints are concerned the old UGB site where Saint's new ground is going to be has started to be demolished at last. The lease on the site still belongs to Pilks for the next year so until the lease is up Saints cannot build. Its all so slow for everyone. They reckon to be playing there in 2011 we shall see.
