This is really a message for St George or Hillsborough Lad as they will know best.Is it true the boozer The cocked hat just outside DVS has shut?
Me and Rich were talking about it on Sunday and we had both heard this rumour.

If it is shut where are we meeting?

It had shut but it was open again on Friday night. However the beer was crap and warm. There's Fara's pub which is directly opposite which might be a better bet. No real ales but at least your lager will be cold and fizzy!

I'll be in the carlton from 4pm.Think its in the beer guide,usually atleast 4 real ales on and a 10 minute walk from the ground.If anyone needs directions just let me know how your travelling and i'll try my best to point you in the right direction.

Yes, The Carlton is in the Good Beer Guide. Last time I visited, there was a very good choice of Real Ales.

The Carlton is on Attercliffe Road (A6178) at the junction with Staniforth Road (B6200).
