Good news if it comes off, wouldn't mind Levy either.

I think that he may be returning to France in the near future.

Surely we should have waited to see if we gain promotion before appointing a coach, as if we dont win the play off final surely we are rewarding failure to meet that stated objectives with a nice new contract.

I darnt post this on facebook....imagine the fury.

Well that is a wise decision Steve ...
I can see a difference between giving him a full time chance over this part time chance.
So even I might give him another year if we don't go up.
But that's it!

I am not convinced we have the tactical nouse to beat Oldham on there own patch at the moment, we lack the foward firepower to match them and due to the narrow pitch we cannot beat them outwide we we are superior...Don't even get me started on their ground :)

I think for me he has had his chance, its not worked we have looked good against lesser teams and very occasionally looked ok against the better teams (the wins at gateshead being a good example).

This weekends game is just madness 12 in Newcastle very silly while I apreciate the Knights also play there on the day as well we've not jumped on the that as a marketing opportunity, surely we should have requested a reschedule or a relocation based on this...Toronto have a standing one but again like the whole Featherstone "Home" games we dont pursue it.

Our players will still be in bed at 12 O'clock unless they travel Saturday.
Totally unreasonable.
I hope they don't go up Sunday ... they won't have much chance if they do.

Fully agree Brian to compete in the Championship we will pretty much need an entirely new squad, that said with the right coach and right recruitement good things can happen, I would (and I dont know) guess that Sheffield and York have lower budgets that we are "supposed" to have and look at what they have achieved especially the Knights. For me failure to gain promotion this year should lead to a full root and branch clear out of DRLFC from top to bottom.

If there was no change in circumstances to coaching next year and Horne was part Hull and part Dons and we don't go up, I would say get someone new.
However, something has changed and he should be given another year.
I think that would be very reasonable given the underperformance so far of this season.
I really can't see us getting promoted, but there is still a chance.

I've been Facebook free for two years now. Kind of glad from the sounds of it. Are they really that bad? I've heard rumors but surely not. I'm genuine btw. Quit FB November 17 as it was not great for my mental health

Like most social media Rob, difference of opinions etc. The frequent posters appear in general terms to tow the Club line and some are not exactly keen on this forum. Dissenters get a bit short shifted (hence Steve Roebucks comment) I am like you and sacked the Cleggbook many Moons ago but with the Supporters forum being an open site I like to visit it just to keep abreast of events surrounding the team but that's it.
