69 years ago today August 27th 1953 the Dons played their first ever game at their new home at Bentley Rd the visitors were Keighley the Dons were defeated 11-34 the ground was later renamed Tattersfield in honour of former chairman LenTattersfield.
The last ever game to be played at Tattersfield was against Workington Town on April 23rd 1995 the Dons losing the game 16-50.
