Rules It is £5 to enter and have a go. To be paid either by paypal or in person before the competition starts. I am happy for people to enter more than once but suggest you use someone else’s name to make it clear which entry is which. You pick a new team from the Super League and Championship fixtures each fixture-week. This is will only include games played Friday, Saturday, or Sunday If that team wins, you are through to the next round. Lose or Draw you are out. Result includes results after any golden point is played. You can only pick a team once. For example, if you pick St Helens, you can no longer pick them for the duration of the competition. The competition will run over email, I will email the fixtures out at the start of each week; entries must be in by end of Thursday. If a player fails to send a team in by the end of Thursday they will be allocated the highest ranked team they still have available. If a match involving a players team is abandoned or postponed after the deadline, the player will continue but will lose that team from their selections. If it is postponed before the deadline they will need to pick another team or be allocated the highest team they have left. In the unlikely event a player is unable to pick a team (ie they have already used every team that is playing that round, they will not be eliminated but they will lose the highest ranked team on their remaining list). The winner will be the last person standing and win half the pot – (£2.50 x no. of players). The rest of money will be used to sponsor something at the Dons. If there are no winners, (ie all remaining players go out at the same weekend) the prize fund is then rolled over, and you must pay to play again. Also increasing the prize Teams are then reset, and we start from scratch but with a rolled over prize fund. The game will start on the first weekend of the Super League season on Friday 16th February (so the first few weeks will only have SL teams available to pick from) |
