The slope is still as terrifying as I remember from being a kid and having to run the ball out from the bottom corner. Indeed, having not got a pie from the two pie shacks I ended up back in that corner and endured a little shudder.

I forgot just how bad the slope was until visiting yesterday. There must be a difference of nearly 2 meters In height from that corner to the other end of the field, though it's still one of the finest surfaces in British RL.
