doesnt look good I admit, wonder if it will put of aussie clubs? am sure radders will have a quite word in his shell like, as for westy sheens was after him and imo would have signed him, if he gets himself sorted he will be a good signing,
The drunkeness, and the old saw about his second season syndrome, will probably mean any deals from Australia of more than one year will be off the table.
Radford may have a word, but whether it’ll mean any more to him than his ban from McDonalds, only Kelly will know. Plenty of others have tried. Sometimes it has to come from inside. Unless there’s some significant mitigation, I think your club have to openly condemn his actions (i.e. the aggressive posturing and the insults directed at the woman serving him) - along with some vague waffle about their values, you know the sort of thing. Probably too invested in him to do anything more, and it’s not like you can exactly trust him to keep going if you withdraw your contract offer. So yeah, there’s a good chance he’ll ‘repay the club for standing by him’ by signing a new deal. Just don’t give him Community Player of the Year again!
Westerman looks a good deal from a Hull perspective, shot to nothing kind of thing. Looks beefy to say the least, and you wonder at Toronto writing off a big-ish investment that quickly, but it’s only for a few months if it turns sour.
