I also find it odd that no-one is actively talking about how good your new signings will be next year. Aren't you all excited about Gleeson, Brown and, erm, the other two. Terrible with names, me.

Not really no, season pass bought all the same ready for a battle for 8th place, where as Hull fc are now expected to be top 4, or so so many of your fans keep saying.

Is say they were about right,

At a guess I'd go Wire faves, then Wigan (who could struggle imo) saints, Leeds, Hull, then Les Cats in the bookies eyes.
Well be battling with Huddersfield ( who also could struggle imo) Wakey and Bradford for 7/8th.
It's strange that not many teams seem to have signed very many players so far other than us, Wigan and obviously Hull (who have tried to sign just about everyone).

Wire n st's are both 11/4 joint favs .
I think if london get off to a good start they could be the suprise top 8 contenders (i said that last year and look how that panned out haha)

I obviously want your boys to finish bottom  but I really havent got a clue how your season will end up , it really could go either way with your signings

So if Rovers get anywhere near Hull that would have to be a triumph for Sandercock and a disaster for Gentle yes?

I mean there'd be no other explanation what with Hull having better players in every single position? Gentle has this fabulous team and by far the most resource of any Hull coach for years so he'd have to be a real dud if Hull don't challenge for silverware, obviously.

And just a thought what if the full team of inferior Rovers players should win a derby game? Clearly impossible and certainly a resigning matter for any coach that could lose when having better players in every single position?

Look I'm just having a joke, Hull have got a good team for 2013 but you guys really do know how to set youselves up for a fall. I thought you'd know better by now, boasting about what you are going to do it's never a good idea. And in all the years of summer rugby I've never known Hull to have a bad November.

Well, FC had by far the best of the derbies in 2012 with starring roles for the likes of Radford, Foster and McGoldrick against much stronger (on paper) Rovers sides, so it's clearly possible.

Sandercock is much better than Morgan according to Rovers fans consensus. All players on the roster will play with passion, aggression, pride. However much cash AP may be trying to splash, we can't buy these 2 competitive advantages.

Welham is a better player than Yeaman (who may well get found out this season now he hasn't got Manu to spoon feed him)

Gleeson is a better player than Arundel

Caro is a better prospect than Ben Crookes

Burns has more to his game than Holdsworth (even though I think he's probably you're best signing all things considered)

Paea would easily get in your team as would Josh Hodgson IMO.

Briscoe is obviously a better player than David Hodgson and whilst I'm one of the few Rovers fans who rate McDonnell but I don't necessarily see Hall making many more gaffs than McDonnell did last year.

Scott Prince is one of my favourite all time players and a player desperately I hoped we would sign back in 2008 before we signed Dobson (I was deflated when Dobson was announced for this reason), but signing him on a 3 year deal at this stage in his career with injuries he's sustained in the last few years is a massive risk; two broken legs, a broken arm (twice) but more worryingly a bicep tear last year - if that goes again he's finished. That said I'm looking forward to him coming to Super League (even if it is for you lot) but I'm glad it's not us that is making such a gamble and I'm happy we've got a 26 year old proven scrum-half with a long kicking game and a running game - 2 things that seems to have disappeared from Prince's repertoire over the last couple of years..

Ellis was one of the best second-rowers in the world up until the year before last but he wasn't as effective last year and regardless of what anyone says he does not pose the same type of consistent threat that Manu does.

Galea has a re-occuring knee problem and really struggled for fitness last year so I'm glad we've replaced him with Cory Paterson.

I agree Rovers have less depth than FC but I still think that on the whole, Rovers have a marginally better three-quarter line, marginally better half-back pairing; in particularly running and long kicking game (Prince has one of the best short kicking games I have ever seen), and a stronger middle now you've lost Moa.

The only clear advantage FC have got over Rovers would be the back-row but I'd say there's a fair chance Ellis, Galea and Tickle may miss games because of their age and the injuries all three players suffered with last year.

Hi Andy

The Rugby Football League are in the process of reviewing the video that you are referring to. We do not condone behaviour of this nature and have contacted the player’s employer, Hull F.C., who have confirmed that they are dealing with the incident under their club rules.
