Well first he went on the SL show to say that championship should get a smaller % of the sky money then watched Gaz Obrien drop a goal to relagate us then offered fans out on twitter so yeah money well spent :D

Re: jamie peacock : Mon May 01, 2017 7:03 pm
It was a genuine question and I can't really see any way I could be asking it to stir things. it's just that last year he seemed to be in the press 3 or 4 times a week and now we never see or hear from him. I just wondered if he'd slipped quietly out of the door. As a Hull fan he looked to be a big part of the car crash that was rovers last season, seemingly sticking his oar into everything. Maybe sheens has redefined the roles?

It seems that Sheens is the one mostly calling the shots now. He seems like a well balanced, phlegmatic and pragmatic bloke.

Peacock was a bit too heart on sleeve and idealistic at times last year, imho. But in fairness we very nearly got away with it, which'd have arguably vindicated his approach. Also it wasn't clear how much that really was his preferred approach, and how much he adopted it out of necessity.

There's a Rovers Q&A with him and Mike Smith coming up soon, iirc, so he's clearly still involved sufficiently to input on that.

I've sponsored rovers once this season and been on 2 other sponsors tables and I have not seen him at any of those 3. I would have expected him to be around at least drumming up customers for his corporate club maybe he was in the car park waiting to hit a cheeky fan :D

HOW on earth do you get NILLED at Wembley ?
When your coach isn't a winner at heart and Gentle is not a winner at heart .
We were a pub team
I coached for a long time and we won 95% of games because winning is a mental state driven by a desire to CRUSH an opposition. Did FC look as though they wanted to Crush Wigan and strangle them until they screamed ? NO
RL is a tough tough game and Maylord She-dong you have no clue
In fact don't ever ever reply to any of my posts again

Or maybe he was in the chairmans suite and the JP business club is full?

If anyone is really that interested I'm sure you could get in touch with him, I don't think it's too difficult.

No I'm not interested at all Al don't know what his job entails and don't honestly care. It's nice that jake has got some of us posting again and you have to admit his public profile with regards to rovers has diminished. Anyway Heffernan how do we keep him?

That's a karmic comeuppance for me. Tried to take the pee on their board and then the yellow tide washes in here.

Tattoo a Rovers badge on his face. And impound his car. Only way.

If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

Frederick Douglas

He's not that good.

He has pace and foot work, but his decision making is poor.

He's also still guilty of over enthusiasm, it's not enough to just get there first, it means nothing if you infringe the laws of the game.
