After the start we had it was a golden chance to put the points difference right, but through our own incompetence we now have the worst points difference out of the top 5 by a good margin, and that could be the difference between top 3 and the million pound game.Talk about making our own problems.
We don’t have the worst points difference in the top 5 let alone by some margin look today wasn’t pretty but we knew what to expect from Halifax after the Salford game if you said to me you’ll go beat Leeds and Toronto away and have a comfortable albeit scrappy win over Halifax I’d have snapped your hand off so stop been so miserable

You wouldn’t be a Rovers fan if you aren’t disappointed at least once or twice every couple of games it’s the way it is

Re: Well now in third : Sun Sep 09, 2018 9:46 pm
Half of our teams problem this season has been giving the opposition cheap possession and putting us under unnecessary pressure. This gives the opposition confidence and tires our players out. How many times do we give it away with a crazy pass, lose it on the first or second play, or get penalised on the fifth tackle...Yes, I am having a moan, but I am frustrated watching so many unforced errors. , That said, got to be happy with any win, but we are better than this, just need to play smarter.
Don,t care if we play boring from now on,but we MUST win against London which will not be easy, and then win another. Lose next week and we are OUT of the top three with only two games to go.Cut out the errors or at least reduce the error count and play with some passion. Didn,t look like we had it today.
Don,t think I could take another MPG...Don,t do it to me! Come on boys, heads up, controlled aggression, play smarter and get the wins.

Pretty much my thoughts on the situation.

PROUD TO BE A ROBIN!

You would bet your house on it would'nt you?

In the rugby press it says Catalans are in for him. So i guess money might come into it.
I have always rated Hall (and Kris Welham), however you just couldnt keep making the glaring errors in defence they were doing.
Hall looks to have cut them out of his game, making him a valuable asset to any team for his attacking prowess, he is an out and out points machine.

Add into the mix the fact he is red n white through and through makes it a no brainer to offer him a deal, and vice captaincy with a view to take over from Lunt.

Would also offer Welham a 1-2 year deal, providing he is not on a huge salary. He too seems to be a lot better player to the one that played in his last season for us. Has a very good trys/games ratio and from what i have seen in the flash and on the box his defence has improve 5 fold.

What have you seen in Hall that makes him captain material? Good player but not a leader.

London will be up for it next week after beating Toulouse. The question is - will we be?

You raise legitimate concerns but let's not forget London's previous games. 32-0 down after 52 minutes v Toronto, 10-48 down to Leeds after 64 minutes.

They are no more reliable than we are. Of course we must assume they will come to win and be prepared.
