You can have those six points back, and we only won by two then :P

On that logic those six points back would mean our early second half try would have put us into a 12-0 lead and you would not have clawed that back in that weather.

It doesn't matter all I'm saying (as I wrote in my site match report) is that if that was the other round you lot on here would equally be screaming blue murder, although I do accept that the referee's whistle is final. Also if you do read the report on my site you will notice that I'm not fingering the blame solely at the referee. We had our chances second half but no craft or guile to get over.

An excellent away following last night and an excellent game.

The first half was stunning! The tackling from both sides was superb and some of the hits your lads withstood to come back from and still look fresh were awesome.

That was our most punishing defensive display in years and you still beat us so that shows what a good side you are.

Good luck fir the rest of the season.

It was an odd decision and certainly helped our cause as much as our try that should've stood helped yours. IMHO I thought we got all the 50-50 decisions up to the final 15 minutes and then you got nearly everything. At the end of the day it's not the first and it won't be the last time we're talking about the ref after a game.

it that those final minutes after the 80mins had been played?

also could no understand why they got a scrum near there 25 at the end when they kicked it behind goal... anyone near that corner that saw what happened?

Ref adjudged that Dobson hadnt kicked the ball through before it hit the floor, so knock on awarded.

Because 80 mins hadn't been played?
The stadium clock keeps going even when the ref has stopped the official time!

As for the scrum on the 20 - Same as what he said although I thought he knocked on nearer to the 10 than the 20 but that was from 70 yards away!

It could have been on the 10, because surely, if he let the ball hit the ground first, its the same as an attempted drop, and if it then went dead , its back to the 20, for a restart. IMO of course.

Don't think so?

I would say it would just go down as a Knock on???? Should have been scrum from wherever that was.

Why are attempted and missed drop kick attempts not deemed Knock ons then?
