So you actually think Mcguire is the best stand off in the league and Lunt is the best hooker in the league - I`m sure its an "Opinion" that a lot of people share with me when i say there not at all, nowhere near.

Try going across city and swapping them for Kelly and Houghton and you would be laughed out the door as you would with most SL clubs bar maybe Widnes/Salford.

Please read my previous post again. I never mentioned any players. My post was merely to point out the inaccuracy of the points you made about the coaches.

Please read your own post again? I was responding to this bit - "The rest of your post is opinion which you are entitled to. Others obviously do not agree with you." To which the previous posters opinion was that Mcguire and Lunt were the best player in SL in there positions. Which i responded by saying there would be a lot of people with the same opinion? Do keep up - Way some of you lot are talking you`ll be real contenders to win the league this season.

Also yes your right, Smith number 1 job was probably to keep Wakefield up and he did that (Just about) but what was his job season after? When he had a lot of support from there chairman, had there biggest playing budget in a long time and decided he had had enough after been thrashed for 6 or 7 games?

I don`t buy into the fact Sheens had nothing to do with coaching at Salford, if you do then fair enough.

Yes, I did post that. You obviously need help with your comprehension. I said "others obviously do not agree". I did not say I did or did not agree. What did you mean by Smith just about kept Wakey up? Just about does not come into it. He did keep them up. Again I did not say that TS had nothing to do with coaching at Salford. I said he was not the coach. You just seem to want to bandy words. Of course that's just my opinion.

For a somewhat more representative view, the average of 16 predictions on the HullKRfans.com forum is 9.65th (i.e. slightly closer to 10th than 9th). And under the old 1 up, 1 down system that'd be a decent performance for a newly promoted team.

While I'm hoping for better (and more coherent team performances in SL than we had pre-Sheens), my reasonable expectation also currently sits at 9th or 10th, which'd mean 4 home games in the shizzle 8s. I think 10 wins from 23 will be a stretch... but in a short season, one decent run of results would give us a shot.

Fingers crossed that one of the wealthy clubs is struggling when they finally decide on the format for 2019, #beingtransparentisnotnecessarilythesameashavingtransparency

Hope you're all ready for another million pound game !! Watch Maguire get injured in the first game, he's only at Rovers to supplement his pension, at least Burrow had the decency to retire.
