To be fair to Hudds, from 2009–2015 they finished 5th, 5th, 4th, 7th, 1st, 3rd and 3rd. Far from dominant, but pretty competitive. While they only won the hubcap, they were competing for trophies and had players winning international honours.
I think we need to give some more obvious signs that we want to do more than just make up the numbers. Or if that is all we can realistically do, accept it and aim to do it more effectively, like Wakefield these last 3 years.
