If we can't stuff Widnes by more than 14 we deserve to be in the MPG anyway, and it'll be away at London after London rip Halifax apart.
You can't trust Leeds to do anything right, but the ref decisions by Hicks were biased all game. Took the video ref to overturn two of his crap decisions.
Whats the betting if we're 14 points up with a minute to go, the ref manufactures a penalty underneath the sticks for them?
We have a second chance ala 2016 (which didn't end well) but it should mean that we shouldn't panic and go out to rip Widnes a new one. At which point, I refer back to my opening sentence.
They’d run it, surely. And score most likely, admittedly.
Though, tbh, I wouldn’t be surprised to see them knock over a drop goal to make it 24-11 with the last kick of the game. Who was it scored an accidental drop goal against in the championship last year. Dewsbury, maybe? Another one like that, perhaps.
I don’t blame Leeds for going at it 85%. Their season was done, and they just had to avoid a pasting. And, as their fans seem happy to acknowledge they’re cack. And not just ‘by their own high standards’, either. Proper cack.
