And there is no reason to pretend it isn't a big deal. It simply isn't. And as for it just been Hull FC fans that do this? Be quiet. I can recall plenty of pitch invasions in my time from Hull KR fans (lots in the 80s and early 90s) including one in 2007. Also Widnes and Castleford have both have incidents that I can recall. To be honest. I don't have a huge problem with it. Coming on to the pitch at the end of a game used to be a regular occurrence in both football and rugby during celebratory occasions. And securing a place in the top 8 at your nearest rivals expense is one. That said, I am completely against any kind of violent action and would utterly condemn this. But to my knowledge, there was no incidents of that, to the credit of both sets of fans on Friday night. So for me, a none story. But try to make it as big as you like.

In the modern era (You know after it became NOT the norm) which team's fans seem to think this in a ok thing to do regularly? I'll give you a clue they play in SL and in B&W and they are not called Widnes.
Other teams have done it yes but as often as your lot do it? It's funny your should mention us in 2007, can you remember WHY some of our lot did that? Go on have a guess. What has other sports got to do with it as we are talking about a SL game unless it's just another line of excuse you are using to defend your 'not a big deal' reasoning.
Credit for both sets if fans? Are you having a giraffe one set knew enough to not spill on the pitch over a standard league game another set thought they had won a cup final and acted like it as did their players.
