Great omen if we'd beaten saints like you did :)

Thanks for the sentiment though

If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

Frederick Douglas

Yeah you did and it was one of the best tactical displays I've ever seen.

I've said this before on here, so apologies for older readers, I obviously started off that game wanting Hull to lose, but the performance and game plan was so good, I was cheering (much to my own personal disgust) you on at the end.

From an Airlie Bird to all Red Robins....well what brilliant display from you guys!! both on the field and in the stands. You really played like you wanted it so so much. And sang so loud when they needed a lift. Impressed all round to be honest. Enjoy your big day, well deserved after the draw you had, and make sure you get back into Super League, we need two strong Hull sides in SL.

Reading through all comments shows what a great sport RL is, as for yesterday I'm to young for the 80s finals and started going to watch rovers in 04 so yesterday was by far the best atmosphere I've experienced going to watch rovers and behind have my children it was the best day of my life
I went to the grand final a few years ago and wire fans where sensational and i have nothing but respect for them and it has just gone up another notch after yesterday i didn't come across a bad 1 at all

Agree with your sentiments re the Wire fans yesterday, spoke to a few on the way out and they all wished us luck, hope we beat Leeds and do well in the middle 8's.

looking at leeds there have pace all over the place, Briscoe hall Watkins hardaker can all go the length of the pitch, rovers have Kelly Dixon sio welham, so gonna be a very good match imo,

Why mention Welham when discussing pace?

He had a good game (opening kick off apart) yesterday but pace is not in his locker.

Re: Well done KR : Mon Aug 03, 2015 8:49 am
For all the emotion on display from people on Saturday who were clearly overwhelmed that they were finally going to see Rovers return to a major final, for the 2 whole generations of Rovers fans who weren't around until the early 90s, this is something I don't think many of us ever really saw coming.
I'm 27 now and the first season I remember watching Rovers was 1993. What felt particularly special for me was seeing all the faces that I've been seeing for the last 20 years finally able to understand all those feelings that we have been told about by parents and friends who were around in the 80s watching Rovers in cup finals.
For all the NL1 grand final meant to Rovers as a club and to the fans, nothing I've ever experienced as a Rovers fan comes close to how I felt at full time on Saturday. Still don't think it has properly sunk in that in less than 4 weeks I'll finally get to see Rovers walk out at Wembley in a major final, I get goosebumps thinking about it.
