Every player that is available seems to be strongly linked with us,joe greenwood,linked to join his brother,jackson hastings,chris sandow recently,and now he says he wants to go back to warrington,who he kicked into touch.We sign danny tickle,who I feel has played really well for us,and the latest weller hauraki who will be 34 next year and is going to be playing against us in the middle 8s which we look sure to be in.
I know experience is invaluable,but tim seems to to give the youngsters a game and then they do ok and out thet go on loan,in a team which has more than its share of injuries.Chris atkin has been very good this season imo,yet often starts on the bench in a depleted side and surely should start. Matty marsh who imo is bang average at best seems to be a tim favourite and repeatedly produces nothing going forward wheras atkins provides a spark.Great point at cas and give us a bit of hope of avoiding the middle 8s,bearing in mind the fixtures we have left,a big task but we live in hope.

Would expect 1 or 2 more signings shortly tbf.. Quietly getting job done

Hastings and Sandow are both trouble so wouldn’t want either really and do you really believe Greenwood was going to sign for us we always get linked with players because we’re a bottom four side and they usually strengthen this time of year

I'd take Hastings without hesitation .Different class to any other half in SL. Baggage yes but treated carefully would be a game changer

Merely used as a pawn in those examples to entice better offers from other clubs.

The media are aware that have cap space, zo theyve linked us with anybody and everybody.

Fact is, we were never actively chasing any of these players.

That must be why we kept the danny tickle signing quiet from the press in case somebody nipped in and gazumped us.

Agree mate,absolute class those that dont want him obviously haven't seen him play.
Kelly came with baggage and we outed him,but is the best off half in the league by a mile,im sure hull fans wouldnt want to swop baggage or not.

Kelly didn’t really come with baggage but yeah he is a great player but he was also one of the reasons we were relegated Hastings is ok but he thinks he’s a lot better than he actually is because why else would he be coming to SL at his age
